It is a time of transition, generally lasting about nine months. The applicant shares daily life in our home before moving on to the novitiate.

After several months, the postulante enters the novitiate. The novitiate is an intense two years of period of prayer and religious life. it culminates in profession of the vows of chastity, poverty, obedience and hospitality for two years. The Novitiate in Far East Asia designated by the Congregation is in Bolinao, Philippines.
